1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoryWonderBook ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a teacher or school administrator using the Service for a classroom, you confirm that your institution has the authority to accept these terms on behalf of your students' guardians.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@storywonderbook.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Credits and Subscriptions

• Credits are consumed when a story is generated. Failed generations do not consume credits.
• Monthly subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
• One-time credit purchases do not expire while your account is active.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that purchase. Partially used credit bundles and used subscription months are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact support@storywonderbook.com.

6. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of any photos or information you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to use that content solely to generate your stories. You confirm that you have the right to upload any photos you submit and that they do not violate any third-party rights.

7. Generated Stories

Stories generated by the Service are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may print and share them for personal enjoyment. Reselling or redistributing generated stories as your own product is not permitted.

8. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or explicit.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Use the Service to generate content that harasses or targets individuals.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryWonderBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StoryWonderBook is registered. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
